sidewalk lined with trees and outdoor seating area under a black umbrella with the word 'PUIGGRÒS'. People are walking, and scooters are parked along the street. Tall buildings with balconies line the street, and the sky is partly cloudy with the sun shining through the trees.

MEET DIANE
WHAT I OFFER

Your personal guide to settling in

Moving to a new city takes real energy — especially when you don't know anyone yet or you're navigating a language barrier. I've lived in seven countries, and have been living in Barcelona for the past 3 years. I've built an incredible network here, and would love to share it with you.

Everyone's journey looks different, but I've learned that the right support makes all of the difference. Whether you're still deciding if this is the right move or you've just landed in Barcelona, I'm here to help you find your footing and lean into everything this city has to offer.

Diane and her friend walking through a narrow cobblestone alleyway in Girona, just 30 min north of Barcelona, lined with old stone buildings, black wrought iron balconies, and lantern-style streetlights.
Quiet cobblestone street in Sitges, lined with white buildings and potted plants under a clear blue sky.
A winding dirt and gravel path through a forested area in a park in Barcelona with tall trees and green foliage, illuminated by warm sunlight.

Finding your neighborhood

Guidance on which neighborhood fits your lifestyle, budget and vibe — so you fall in love with where you live. I can share up to date info on the housing options here as well and where to find a deal.

Neighborhood walks

We can walk your new neighborhood, or can go out together in different neighborhoods to check them out — I’ll show you the spots that will make it feel more like home, and happy to grab a coffee and catch up (my dog Bowie may join us!)

My trusted network

English-speaking vets, banks, tax advisors, Spanish tutors, gyms (even personal trainers!), business coaches and more - vetted and ready.

Practical logistics

What you need to know about — mobile plans, internet providers, public transit and even how to keep your previous phone number (from the US/ UK etc. ) if needed.

Local tips & tricks

Google maps / ChatGPT can only get you so far, they just don’t really offer much when it comes to learning about the culture and local way of life. I’ll give you insider tips on stores, restaurants, live music, festivals and more hidden gems!

Exploring beyond Barcelona

I can send you day-trip guides to local spots in Costa Brava, Girona, Sitges, Cadaqués, the Pyrenees etc.. It’s amazing how easy it is to get from Barcelona up or down the coast to explore beaches, go skiing/ hiking on the weekend (even without a car!)

Have Questions? Let's Talk

Send me a quick note and I’ll get back within one business day.
